This picture is such a good example of how photos do not accurately represent real life. I love Z's smile here she looks so happy to have gone swimming. In reality she loathes it. Peter and I basically throw her into the pool and she clings to her swim instructor for 20 minutes before he releases her back to Peter. Believe it or not this is a huge improvement for her. The last swim class I enrolled her in was an utter fail. She would dangle her toes in the pool for about a minute before declaring she was done. I have to admire her resilience though, little Z is not going to do anything she doesn't want to. We just have to convince her that she wants to learn how to swim.
