Two weeks ago we visited Orchard Beach and City Island in the Bronx. We invited our friend Sarah to come too and she was awesome! Zelda loved having her along and made her perform some street dance moves whenever she felt bored and Sarah had some good moves.
The beach was fun. We walked up and down the boardwalk and did a little running on the sand. It was a short trip, but we saw lots, sunbathers, basketball players, families grilling and lots of kids playing in the sand. It's a nice place.
City Island was the best. We parked the car on a little side street with cute houses and a beautiful view of the water. We wandered around the main avenue and popped into some cute, funky stores. Highlights for Zelda include a new handmade necklace that bears her name and an ice cream cone with her new favorite flavor, Birthday Cake (it was pretty bad, but she LOVED it).
