We are outside every chance we get these days. One thing that is nice about our neighborhood is the multitude of playgrounds and green, grassy spaces nearby. Portia has been to almost every playground in Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill and Dumbo. She can now swing on a big kid swing and she loves those twisty slides and the ladders that lead up to them. Portia wants to stay at the playground for hours, the only way I can get her to come home is to promise her episodes of Elmo. She loves that furry, red puppet.
