Early Summer

School is over and Zelda has 3 weeks off before camp starts. We don't have much planned these days and Zelda spends a lot of time asking for play dates. She misses her friends. The three of us are constantly at the playground. This is their routine...

- swing on the swings
- run down the slide
- take shoes off
- dump sand out of the sandbox
- complain about the lack of sand in the sandbox
- pretend to make pizza in the dirty play kitchen that was left at the playground a month ago
- run up the slide while other children try to go down it
- strip down to undies and hop around the fountain
- complain about being wet and wipe snotty noses on my pants
- ask for snacks
- stick half eaten string cheese in the sand box
- ask for water
- dump water down the slide
- complain that the slide is wet
- ask to go home and watch My Little Pony

Sounds fun, right?
