To start the summer we took a Sunday trip to Governors Island. Then we celebrated Peter's birthday with a picnic in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The day was beautiful and the girls spent the whole day running around on the grass. They would run to the edge of the park and then run back to us. Back and forth, sometimes they would trip and fall right into the dirt only to stand up and run again. Their favorite was when their dad joined them and ran around with them. I think that was his favorite too.
