Even though this winter was long and cold and we spent a lot of it sick and inside.... we also did some fun things.
In February we had a really great weekend trip to Woodstock, Vermont. We rented a little house near town and watched Shrek in front of the fireplace. We played outside and went window shopping. I didn't even pack that many toys, we made forts and did some cooking.
The best thing about the winter has been hanging out with my little ladies. Having 2 toddlers can be so hard. They need to be watched all the time, they always seem to be hungry and each one wants my attention constantly. Lately though they have been happy playing with one another. Not just happy, but excited about waking up in the morning together, excited about playing hide and seek together and Zelda even asks if Portia can sleep in her bed. They cuddle, wrestle and read to each other I can't get enough of it. They have been so fun.
