Hancock Shaker Village

On our way to Vermont last month we stopped at Hancock Shaker Village. It was a fun morning and the perfect place to introduce a toddler to a farm. The staff was very friendly and were happy to talk (we were the only people there for a little while, it was great!). We saw sheep, cows, horses and turkeys. I liked visiting the piglets, Peter enjoyed carrying Portia in his backpack, Portia was happy to be outside and Zelda really liked the dandelions. At the end of the visit Zelda visited the Discovery Room where kids can play dress up, watch bees make honey and even hold a chick in their hands (Zelda did this, I was so proud!).
